Review Signal’s Performance Benchmark is perhaps the most comprehensive web hosting review out there, and trusted by many given the depth of technical investigation (as opposed to the every other review rewarding hosts with the most generous affiliate program.
Review Signal compared providers and products by price range, so there’s a lot of detail there. Kinsta are only one of two companies to be featured as a ‘Top Tier’ provider at every price point.

Kevin awards this title to hosting companies who maintain 99.9% uptime throughout the entire testing period and show little to no performance degradation during load testing, primarily focused on errors.
A couple of caveats: web hosting companies need to opt into the exercise (and pay for the privilege) , and the methodology doesn’t favor ‘regional’ web hosts such as Conetix, and Australian provider that had a few things to say about their result last year.
This doesn’t detract from the result as no other benchmark comes close to Review Signal’s effort.
